Although Beefy T's are nice and I think they feel good, Hanes uses slave labor, I'm not really excited about that. Anvil or American Apparel have better practices.

Well, your loss... Everyone has a chance to win great things like access ports, engine parts, service, etc... If you don't want those and help animals because your pride is in the way, then more parts for everyone else!

I also own some Hanes Tees, and I love the feel. The shirt feels "solid". However, I did not know about the slave labor. I'll be looking out now when buying shirts.

With that being said, we can use a variety of brands. I like the American Apparel fit and feel - it has a nice quality to it, almost expensive. I have many brands available i.e. Gildan, Anvil, Jerzees. Port and Company is owned by Hanes i believe, so we'll stay away from that.
To address shrinkage issues () it's hit or miss. If I care about a certain shirt not shrinking, i'll wash it through a cold cycle and hang dry it. This method usually prevents shrinking down.
