I hate it as much as you guys but I'm sure coaching/management is telling kap to run the playclock to the last second. Didn't smith do the same? I understand it's good for time of possession and setting a tone but they can't do it in clutch plays.

No way. Did you see them taking their time at about the 3 minute mark? They're down by 6 at the 20 yard marker and Kap's taking his time, wasting precious seconds. No sense of urgency. Even the beat reporters were tweeting out, asking why there wasn't any hurry up offense at that time.

well, it was a good game as expected, and (i think) as Harbaugh pointed out, it required a full 60 minute effort. we did come up short in the end. but...looking forward to the draft and seeing who re-signs. quite a few question marks.

Media asked Kap why he threw to Crabtree at the end in double coverage. Kap said he liked the matchup. Watched the replay again. Quinton Patton was wide open on the other side. Could have advanced AT LEAST 5+ yards going out of bounds with the clock stopped. Too much tunnel vision with Kap.

Well. Good season overall. Esp that 8 game streak. But why didn't Harbaugh call time out at 45 seconds left? They wasted 15 seconds for a hurry up they didn't even need with 2 timeouts left. The hurry up ended up with a play they didn't need and well, ended with a really well defensed throw, and INT.

The bad fumble call didn't work out for Seattle since niners got it back and in better place.
Not much else was that big, and hurt the niners.

They have money but not for long.
The only big free agents are Boldin, Tarell Brown and Whitner and now Wilhoite with the Bowman injury.
The downside is they are going have to pay Kaep, Crabtree, Iupati, Anthony Davis, and Aldon Smith pretty soon and might try to easy the pain and redo their deals this year to offset the cost. That and Justin Smith won't be around much longer since he is 34 so they will need to replace him.
They could end up like the Ravens with the Flacco deal.
