Wow, Redskins got Morgan from the Niners + Garcon from the Colts and picking up RGIII? Big moves.

49ers also looking for another CB, which gives me the idea that Rogers isn't going to be signed. They already signed a DB from the Broncos and now lookin @ one from the Lions.

Definitely the case. Hopefully it doesn't bite them in the butt.

The niners are a very locker energy team... like the Broncos. One bad seed in there and it can collapse the whole team. Right now they're being Alex. Get a guy like Moss in there talking crap and all that changes.

And loosing Rodgers is gonna suck. Maybe the Raiders will get him. LOL!

I think they're making some odd moves right now. There is a TON of WR talent on the market and they could have made a different move. Moss is not the answer for S.F. Garcon.... maybe. Moss... no way. I still think they should have went have Robinson.

I have faith in Harbaugh. Moss isnt necessarily a bad pick because hes on a 1 year contract. He has to work a lot harder to stay relevant if he wants another contract at his age. I can also understand letting Morgan go because the guy is getting back from a big injury and he missed over half the season as well. He will likely end up being a dud this season.

Letting Rodgers walk is probably because of money. I think we'll be ok if we can grab another wr and end up with a first round TE. The only thing thats bothering me right now is whats happening with Ginn. I have no faith in Kyle Williams being the #1 return guy.

Chances are even if we lose Ginn, Kyle Williams won't be back there returning kicks. We may use our new CB Perrish *** to do that.

"*** (6-0, 198) was originally a fifth round draft pick by the Denver Broncos (137th overall) in the 2010 NFL Draft. *** has played in 15 games (9 starts), tallying 54 tackles, two forced fumbles, one interception and ranked third among NFL rookies with a team-high 14 passes defensed, in 2010. A key special team’s player, *** made four tackles on special teams as well as returned nine kickoffs for 172 yards.

A 25-year-old native of Waco, TX, *** starred collegiately at Oklahoma State where he earned first-team All-Big 12 Conference honors and was a finalist for the Thorpe Award (nation’s best defensive back) after leading the country in pass breakups (19) in 2009. *** finished his career at Oklahoma State with the third-most kickoff return yards in FBS history (2,804) along with a school-record four kickoff returns for touchdowns."

Also, even if we do lose Ginn & we do not use *** to do the returns we can still most likely find someone to be a Return Specialist in the Draft (or even grab someone that goes undrafted). Heck, we could probably even use Kendall Hunter back there.

Do return guys have the greatest % of getting injured?

They are definitely more at risk. That's why guys often times start out in return and down the depth chart at another position. If they get to be in the 1/2 slot at that position they usually don't return any more. Usually.

I wouldn't bet that Rogers is gone. He wants too much money and he's 30. Once he tests the FA market, I can see him coming back for reasonable money.

Looks like the Redskins just picked up Eddie Royal as well.

Things could be getting interesting in the NFC East.

Hell Yeah, looks like Rogers is staying.

NFL.com Blogs » Blog Archive Niners reach four-year deal to bring back CB Rogers «

Now with him, Culliver, Perrish *** (who was supposed to take over for Champ Bailey) we are looking pretty good on CB's now.

I'm happy... but wow 31.3mil for 4 years? How much is Willis making again? That's grip! But at least that makes the back end of the 49ers look damn good, and just got stronger.

With these moves so far, you have to definitely look at a WR in the draft.

Lloyd used to be a 4th string receiver, then left and exploded as a starter elsewhere... 49ers have let go of a bunch of those before. If the 49ers pick up anymore WRs, I'll be interested in if they'll burn the first round pick on one.

Yeah, they need to be VERY careful to hold on to him. Future hall of famer.

I haven't even read most of the articles since I was so excited. But the 49ers are looking into Peyton Manning (Jim Harbaugh went to go see him in NC), saw him throw, and sources say he was very impressive. 49ers even sent one of their doctors to do a physical on him. SIGN HIM ASAP!!!!
