No Fun League for sure with ridiculous fines such as that.

San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore is headed to his first Super Bowl after eight seasons as one of the most underrated players in the entire NFL.

Gore will make a little extra money from reaching the big game, and he'll celebrate that by spending a little extra money on his uniform. ESPN reported Wednesday that Gore was fined $10,500 by the NFL for wearing his socks too low during the 49ers' victory over the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.

I've reached out to the league for confirmation, but have not heard back yet. Meanwhile, I've made the executive decision to not walk by Commissioner Roger Goodell's office today because I wore black ankle socks to work.
Gore be like

Meanwhile, Tom Brady gets fined only $10,000 for almost injuring another player with his slide/kick.

Someone explain to me why the hell wearing sock "too low" is fineable?
Like... Is this communist Russia where all players need to look the same? That's a weird one to me

Just thinking of the crazy here, but it's possible that you dump that nice slick lotion/Vaseline on and it's not noticeable and you slip tackles.

I forgot, but a couple of 49ers were also hit for like 18k for tossin' a ball into a crowd each time.

With 18K, you could probably purchase a bunch of those footballs and just give them out every time you get a touchdownn. LoL

I love Gore's comment on the fine..

"When you're playing, you don't think about it. You're trying to win."

QFT lol.

GFO here Goodell... you're such a joke of a commissioner

He was fined previously on the same offense too. The problem is if Goodell shows any leniency, it opens the floodgates for the "thug life" individuals in the NFL to start breaking the dress code with their own creations. Its hard to determine where to draw the line but Im fine with it.

10k to Gore is like 100$ to the rest of us which is a night on the town or going to the club.

Shouldn't you guys be directing your anger towards Merton Hanks? He's the guy that is responsible for issuing fines.
