Official: 49ers 2012-2013 Season Thread!
Early, but the guy who impressed me the most out of the WRs is Stephen Hill, 6'4, 4.36 40. Means he has the body and the speed from Georgia Tech.
Michael Floyd out of Notre Dame 6'3, 4.47 40.
I think both of these guys will be gone before it's 49ers pick, so we'll see =P.

I thought the most interesting thing about today's Combine came from when RGIII was being interviewed and that he mentioned that the 49ers had interviewed him. Harbaugh apparently tried to recruit him to go to Stanford as well. That was interesting to hear about the interview which would lead me to believe they are either looking at him or Kendall Wright.

NFL.com news: Brooks gets $17.5M guaranteed in six-year deal with 49ers
Brooks signed a six-year, $44.5 million contract extension with San Francisco on Tuesday that will take him through the 2017 season and keep one of the NFL's best linebacker units intact. The deal is worth $17.5 million guaranteed, said his agent, Greg Williams.

Yea, which would be scary... But I'm still confused to as why you'd roll up for RGIII if you have bradford... bradford needs a team, lol. RGIII could wing it and run around, but he'll end up hurt real fast like a Mike Vick. I'd imagine Rams are going for Blackmon if anyone, and some O-linemen.

Some free agents that have proven some stuff on the market that I think the 49ers will look at first. IE WR Colson, big body, good hands, great slot receiver. Garcon is free from the Colts as well as Wayne, but Wayne is past his prime and Garcon is young.

NFL.com Blogs » Blog Archive San Francisco won’t pursue Manning «
I can't believe that SF wouldn't at least kick the tires with Manning. I mean if we really are sticking with Alex Smith someone has some serious faith in Smith to not even CONSIDER Manning.
To me though if Manning does end up on a NFC West Team I would think it would be the Cardinals. I don't see Manning playing for the Seahawks (maybe, but probably not). The Redskins don't seem like they have enough talent on their team to make them a desirable team for him to go to. The Dolphins make some sense as he already has a home in Florida it sounds like. The Jets ... Maybe, but he would have to be expecting to join in to a team that seems like they were pretty dysfunctional this season. It would be interesting seeing both Mannings playing in New York.
However with 3 teams in the NFC West being "potential" landing spots for Manning (assuming he is indeed released from the Colts tomorrow as the announcements seem to be saying) it seems that he may very well end up in division. If that's the case it would be a matter of thinking "Can we Win against Manning?" If the answer is "No" then we should at bare minimum check him out (heck it could be at least for exploratory purposes to see what kind of shape he is in as this may help provide some incite in to him assuming he does sign with a Division Rival).

The thing with Manning is that he may be cleared to play and threw like he did last week at Duke. But can the neck hold up? I just don't see him playing 16 games ever again in a season.
