One game down! Mexico deserved the win, but that's football for you. I can't believe ESPN is broadcasting in 3D.

 

nice game SA vs mexico. SA was sooo close to winning, can't believe mphela missed that last chance of a goal, it would have been epic for the SA fans.
mexico dominated first half but SA really turned things around the second half.

ps. i underestimated those vuvuzela...those things are coooonstanly going on, it gets annoying, lol.

 

I was hoping KSA would win. They did have a sloppy first but came out guns blazing in the 2nd period. If its the first world cup on a continent, you can never under estimate the home team, home court advantage is just too great. Look at the amazing run Korea made in '02.

France has been sloppy in the last few years. They'll probably win this first match, but I hope they don't get far; they always seem to get into elimination rounds but then lose steam. Doesn't make for exciting football.

 

France isn't going far this year. They're a team in disarray .

I can live with some of the non-foul calls, but the disallowing of goals against Spain was ridiculous.

Damn South Africa and Mexico was an intense 2nd half good game but i still think Mexico should have had the win. Uruguay and France game just finished 0-0, Forlan and Suarez let me down it was an o.k game i guess, now wait for tomorrows game England vs USA.
