OEM horn replacement?
I didn't know where to post so I figured closest to home might be best.
I don't like the OEM horn on my WRX. I don't want to replace it with any like the Hella Supertones stuff. From what I read, it's deafening and scares the crap out of folks.
I'm looking for something more...tougher sounding, for lack of a better adjective. The little beep beep just doesn't do it for me. Has anyone else changed to something else other that Hella Supertones. The only threads I find are Hella Supertones. I mean I can live with it, but if I could change it I will.

you guys are funny...
So i guess it's just Hella Supertones then as an alternative?
I'd do the hanging half my body out the car method, but with the recent weather I just don't wanna risk it.
I need to hear it in person.

I've got some cheaper Hellas that are still pretty dope. Less sharp than the supertones, but still loud, and a nice sound.
Cost me like $25.

You wanna hear mine?
I've got Supertones on my car and I live in the city... we could meet up and you can check them out. I didn't hook them up with relay, I just used the stock connection. Not as loud as they can be but still good. let me know if you want to check them out.
