octane greater than 91?

I know there's 100 octane to be found at a few 76 stations, but has anyone seen anything between that and 91? I'd really like to find a station around here (Fremont) with 93.

So if you've found a station with 92 or greater, tell me where!

As a side note: what are the chances we could convince the Union City Landing 76 to start carrying 100? They would sell a lot every Tuesday.

They'll never start carrying 100 if you don't go in there and ask 'em about it.

They are more likely to carry it if a lot of people ask them about it. That's why I mention it.

As for the main topic at hand -- so there's nothing but 91 or 100 around here?

u cant go in asking the employee about it, u have to be able to talk to the owner and that would only happen if u talked to them during the day.

all u gota do is mix 91 with a lil 100, and u get any number in the middle!! (n00b)

For reference: 9 gallons of 91, & 2 gallons of 100 = 93 octane (rough est.)

Yes, well, I'm glad I'm surrounded by automotive experts like yourself. (Maybe that's why I said something about getting UC76 to carry it? ) Now back to the question I asked:

Edit: Sorry, it's late Friday, and after work today instead of going home I have to go to a work related "social" event. So I'm cranky.

Ok then if there really isn't anything but 91 or 100 to be found around here:

Are people who attend the UCKK meets interested in trying to get the 76 station there to carry 100? Or is one of the stations already carrying it better for you? Or are you perfectly happy with 91? Should I start a new (less cranky, more obviously aimed at UCKK folk) thread for this?

If a lot of people seem interested, I'll see if I can contact the owner, and if he seems like he/they could be convinced, we'll see where it goes. If no one else is interested though, I doubt they will want to carry it just for me, so I won't bother unless others are willing to call/write/whatever once I find out where.

Or maybe we should just invite the owner to the UCKK meets?

actually you can just go buy some Toluene (sp?) from uh DuPont or something. That shiznit's like 116 octane, or some crazy number.

Just dump a few pints of that carcinogen into your tank.
