Couple things to comment on.
First of all, I CARE ABOUT IT. Hes supposidly this great president who WAS supposed to bring great CHANGE. Hows that change workin for all of you? Hes unprofessional, and dresses as such.
Second, There are MANY MANY MANY threads in BAIC that are NON-SUBARU related. Many people post on here about things that bother them or they feel the need to talk about.
Third, I have plenty to worry about in life... But my worrys are just that. MY WORRIES. Why bring anyone else into them.
Fourth, Dont call people out on threads. You dont like it.. DONT COMMENT

Seriously though, why do you think the tie is so important? Because you've been told that a tie is important?
If you're going to judge someone, judge them upon the actions they make, not on whether or not they have a tie on. That's just petty. Can I get away with murder if I wear a tie?
^^^ wearing a tie, and still a jackass. I fail to see the importance of the tie.

I wear a bowtie and tux shirt to work, yet I'm still a college student that gets paid minimum wage. It's my pride in my work that keeps me performing well, not the tie (sure as hell not the wages ).
The tie is irrelevant.

I think it is great that Obama does not always wear a tie.
Ties are a joke, and it means exactly NOTHING to me when someone wears a tie. The fact that someone so important does NOT wear a tie means a lot, however.
As has been said already, I will base my opinion off his actions, and not whether he wears a formal suit all the time. Besides, isn't "business-casual" the style right now? Call me a redneck, but I think of some wearing a button up shirt, a suit coat and slacks as being dressed up

I posted that picture as reference. I didnt say it was inappropriate.
here to satisfy your overwhelming urge to defend the president, ill find more pictures of him not dressed to the par.

Happy? All of which are occasions he should have looked more professional.
Going to a baseball game, on vacation at marthas vineyard, both places you should dress casually. Making a television appearence, as the President of the United State of America, Should, I would hope, be an event you want to show the entire world what our country is made of.

I like the reference picture myself. To think he would have the ***** to go sit on a 'talk show' without a tie? Mercy, Jay must have felt overdressed on his own show...
The man knows when to dress and when not to. Thank God he realizes it's just a job! Some common sense in the White House I find pretty refreshing.

did you just say common sense and Obama in the same sentence?!
if he had common sense he'd know that spending money will only pute us deeper into debt and also raise the stakes for inflation. He'd know that you just can't keep printing money.
