There is one right down the road from my house. It is called Lupin Naturist Colony. I have lived here for 2 years now, and never driven up the road towards it. Here's a link:

Uh, don't know anything about colonies, but there is a nude beach just north of Santa Cruz called Red White and Blue. It is called that because there is a red white and blue mailbox on the ocean side of hwy 1 that marks the entrance. A friend used to own an abalone farm on the bluff above that beach.
