I am thinking of going for a drive today through forestville out to hwy 1. Feel like wasting some gas for no real reason.

I got pulled over in Cotati twice in the last month. My car has really big cams, straight exhaust, roll bar and my tags are expired and both times they let me go without saying anything about my car at all. I thought for sure they would at least question me or give me crap about it being loud. Nope, just checked my reg, insur and lic and told me to have a good night. After all the crazy stories I hear Im pretty shocked.

Well... I drive through downtown cotati nearly 4 times a day/night at least. See a leo at least once a day or more hiding in various 'dark' hidden spots usually. Just always drive slow (under 25) and make complete stops. I havn't been harrassed (yet) even with loud full exhaust (knock on wood). I do have my silencer in though just for that reason.

I missed this post a together. Like vodka said there's some garage kept subies in Santa rosa that have more power(for now) then us/me and better suspension, and up until a few months ago my friends Evo would have made most look silly on track which he held some records in on track but ended up selling it. I'm slowly moving towards more power and less track oriented though as there's several low 10sec cars in town I want to play with by next summer. I have a old crx that's setup for track that's cheap to deal with so the Evo has been put to perma street duty with some major changes coming this winter.

I got pulled over on 101 while going through Cotati last month as well. Got ticketed for exp. reg and they threatened to tow my car. Wish I could have got off that easy

to the blue 04/5 STi on Sonoma Hwy around 10:45pm tonight. My wife and I were on our way home from work so we were pretty tired. I waved and gave you thumbs up, you revved and gave me teh turbo pssshhht, so I caught up and waved again. Then my wife said to gas it before we had to turn on Mission, so I gave a third gear pull to redline with you before turning. I could tell you had a bigger turbo by the sound. Anyway, sorry we couldn't stick around and play seriously, but my wife was hungry and was working since 11am.

LOL, you did a number on that car for sure. That thing was beat to hell. She's definitely confused, as she had no idea she was driving a car with a lot of issues. Poor thing.
