Norcal Rallycross still lives and is growing
Despite what seemed to be the death of rallycross by a certain organization, Formula RallyX is being joined by Competition Sports Car Club in Sacramento (CSCC) to continue to provide an opportunity to play with our Subiedubiedoos in the dirt. What they were made for.
I'm posting this in case some peole weren't aware that along with the FRX events to be held at Antioch fairgrounds and in Vallejo, CSCC will be putting on 2 events to start our season at Prairie City OHV SVRA Park in the Sacramento area. The event dates are April 29th and May 6th with more to follow to form a series of 6-8 events.
For more info and registration go to csccautox.org
Feel free to reply with any questions you might have.
Hope to see more people out there,
Brent RSA58 STi

So, yeah, you wouldn't want to play in the dirt, j/k. Glad too see you do want to play. We'll plan more events for this year, also there will be FRX events, for our points series, as well. Do you have any mods?

Vallejo is on June 24th.
For the events at Prairie City, you don't have to be a member of CSCC, but we do encourage everyone to join. You do get a discount on entries, and you can participate in fun runs with a rental car by being a member, plus all the other great stuff that goes with membership.

Awesome! I can't wait to get back in the dirt .
How are the conditions are Prairy City? Are we gonna be breaking cars or is it fairly flat? What's the class structure like? I might try my 86 MR2 out there .

Salvator, don't worry, just come and look for me in my #58 Blue STi. It'll be easy to see, the numbers will look like dog paws.
Class structures in a nut shell are: unmodified "stock" class. suspension mods"prepared class, can have rally tires. open class"rally mod" pretty much anything goes. Rules will follow scca rallycross format.
Conditions of dirt are good so far. It will be smooth, last thing I want to see is a broken car. It is on a slope, so watching will be great from above. Slope will make it like doing a hillclimb, done right, it should be a blast.
Entries for 4/29 are limited to 60 for 1st event, so everything goes smoothly.
Good news is there will be another event the very next weekend and we will allow 75 entries. Woohoo. So if you can't sign up for the first event, the second event is soon.
