LOL... this last rain, I was leaving a stop light, and I was like "why isnt the truck moving?" glanced over at the tach...its pegged at 6500, realised I was spinning them...teach me to keep the radio up so loud.
But I do love having the extra horsepower and torque on tap offroad. Its come in handy when I have needed to mash it a few times.

Nice trucks, I'm looking to buy a new truck in the next few months! I like the smaller Toyota Tacoma's, been looking into the other makes and like the Chevy/GMC and the Ford Raptor. Anyone have any good info on newer trucks and what's the better buy? Most I ever would tow is the STi and trailer, I believe the Tacoma can tow 5,500. Was thinking of the 2012 4 door Tacoma and add a TRD supercharger and call it a day!

Rather have a diesel to tow than a supercharged yota in my opinion. no room for expansion the rating is by the vehicle itself. just cause more power.... doesnt mean it tows more.

I would think that if you look around, you could get everything needed for the swap, from an online vendor. I know even for what I'm driving, there are a few that still sell kits, and there were a whole lot more T4R's in production than Highriders, and ZR2's. Plus you will save the money on their mark up, or possibly decide just to do the swap yourself...all you really need is a Sawzall/plasma cutter, and someone that can weld a little.
