Next uckk dent day?

I'm bummed cause the girls in the next apt. opened their big old SUV doors into my left passenger door, right below the beltline.

Biggest ding yet...

And of course, I wasn't there when it happened so they just played it off.

Thankfully mine are like those too. I think if they're small enough they're technically "dings," and are also the easiest/fastest/cheapest to remove. The small dings can COMPLETELY removed, you'd never even know.

The bigger the blemish, the more time and effort it takes.

The dent guy is a "paintless dent removal service," so unfortunately he can't do anything about cracks or scratches, unless there is a small dent behind the scratch. That would probably start chipping the paint though.

Sweet. Now I really have to make sure to show up to the meet tuesday. The car is barely two weeks old and already it has a ding from a pine cone (I think) in the trunk lid.

Ouch! Try as hard as you can not to park under pine trees! When those cones fall, they gain quite a bit of acceleration, and if the dent comes to a hard edge or point (like someone jambed a pen at panel), it'll be quite difficult even for an experienced dent guy to get out!

But they can certainly make it look better, and for $25 a pop it's totally worth the effort.

Yeah, unfortunately my driveway is under pine trees I used to park on the street to avoid the pinecones and the sap... until my Si was egged. Twice.

Car Info: Not a WRX any more . . .
Is there a sign up list, or do we just show up?

Got my first door ding, so I may try to make it.

(Not to mention the jerk that bumped into me in stop and go traffic this morning, then pulled around me and drove off when I stopped to check for damage. Luckily he tapped me pretty lightly and it appears no damage was done.)
