Ok I have class on Satudays. Will I miss out on the driving, or will there be more on Sunday?

Thanks for the up date. I forget about the "edit" option. Meeting place and time sound cool. I'll be there early

There are so many good roads between here and there that I wanted to use some of them , so yeah, it's going to be like that, we'll meet here (well, Petaluma anyway....) and start out on some familiar roads (I want to drive Bohemian Highway without the traffic we had 2 weeks ago!, although it's always a gamble) -working our way northward over the course of the day Saturday, to arrive at the campground about nightfall.

Then Sunday we tool around up there for a few hours before working our way back home.

Since I have to organize the thing, I was counting myself as car 0, I have a rally computer and know where all the checkpoints are- so it really wouldn't be fair for me to compete.

so our roster of combatants reads more like this:

0) psoper

1) huck
2) Daredevil
3) Platypus
4) bushido
5) ?

Come, come to the dark side... what's one little class? We're talking a weekend of adventure and hi-jinks! Driving, camping, drinking, good people, more driving, etc, etc...

So dropkick_muppet says he wants to come along. But he wants to know how much tarmac vs dirt/gravel surfaces. I also told him to make a post on this thread to inform Pete the organizer

Damn you Pete! I really want to go on this drive, it sounds amazing. Damn wedding . I'll definitely be down for a fun drive weekend when I get back though.

My car is almost running. It is being covered under warranty and I should have it back by the end of the week. I can't really skip class on Sat cause it is 2 classes and I graduate in December. I already skipped out last week for the Reno Air Races. Damn school and its expenses of time and money.

so you blame me!? geez brian, it's not like I picked your wedding date on purpose (though maybe the other guys did....)

What are you doing this weekend? I still need to go out and measure some roads.....

Gunslinger- if your car is running, I should be able to let you know an approximate schedule for Sunday, you might be able to get up early and meet up with us mid-day someplace up there

At times like this I like to look to the US Government, specifically the armed forces, for help in making my decisions. So....
