Our local drives are fun, but nothing like T-bird!

What a little b!tch.

but for the rest of us the roads are fine. I've been on them with many a i-clubber before with no complaints. As of now i think the 13th still stands as the day.

:P

don't get me wrong, i freaken love goin out on these drives, and i miss it a lot, but my car isn't set up for that anymore, i can do HWY 1 and nice smooth roads, but twisties with potholes all over the place will cause my car to dangerously bounce all over the place.
these drives are a thing of the past for me for a few reasons:

-99% of the time someone has their car damaged
-over all dangerous
-people often have the feel for trying to prove themselves or something so they ride each others tails so hard it makes it even more dangerous (this isn't so much a problem these days, but in the past when we didn't know everyone on the drive I found this to be true quite often, as much as we say "hey, its just driving, no need to go nuts" but it always happens
-as much as i love attention, this might be too much for me, i dont' help it with having hte loudest exhaust on the market, but if we get a group of us pulled over and the cop looks under my car, im royally ****ed. and im sure im not the only one like this.

but again, dont' get me wrong, i fully enjoy these little outtings, but the track is just so much more damn fun. ya, it costs more, but its worth it to me. At the JC they have a huge dirt parkign lot, i get out of class at 10 PM on mon and tuesdays, and there are 0 cars in it, i always do a drift around the long sided corners so im sitll down for fun, and i really wanna go, i just dont' think my car will do so well out there as when it was not as modded. ya never know though, maybe i can see what happens and come out. its so damn tempting.

stay classy san diego
