New Saabaru

The new (not here yet) Saab 9-2 and 9-2 Aero are rebadged Subaru WRX's. GM thought Saab (a subsidiary) was taking too long to develope a new model so they negotiated this instead. Wait till you see the C7 Vette, a rebadged B11 Legacy

Oh wow, this wasn't just a hallucination...

Absolutely bizarre. Could have been the solution to our aesthetic woes. If it had a lower hoodline and roofline I'd be all over it. Probably would come with a +$5000 premium though.

Too bad production starts early 2004, otherwise I'd head over to the Impreza/Forester factory Gunma prefecture this weekend to try to take spy photos.

Yeah Subaru will be making Saabs in the future. How lame is that?

Buying a Saab WRX is probably a lot like buying an Audi Jetta (I know, they're called A4s. But you get the point). I'd try it, just to be different.

Why would you do that? So you can go to the Saab dealer and get overcharged for a part you could have gotten through Subaru. I hate all cars made in Sweden.

So I'll buy the Saab and put STi parts on it. No problem.

I really like the interior design of the Saab 9-2x aero. However, since it is the same layout at the interior in my WRX, in theory, I could just pull those interior parts and pop them in my car. I wouldn't get the aero for a few reasons:

1. Dislike Saab.
2. I really like the WRX because it's very unique. The design stands out greatly (specially the bugeyes), the H4 is different and the whole Subaru owning experience is very cool (mostly thanks to you guys). I've seen the Saab boards - many of those guys are very ... umm .. well, dare I say it, snaabish (I kill me, seriously..). Being that the Saab is so obviously a WRX wagon with a different front and rear, different wheels and interior, along with a slightly higher price, it's nowhere near as cool as a WRX.
3. I do not like Saab
