Honda confirms NSX concept for Detroit - BBC Top Gear
I can't wait to see what it'll look like and what it'll be priced at.

IMHO more horsepower isn't the key as most car companies are producing more and more power, people are thinking that high horse is equivalent to a good car, it's definitely not the key. Id rather have something light for the block that has ok power but can handle a turn great.

agreed but man all this hype speculation about what the new incarnation of what the NSX might be is worse than the speculation of the iphone 5
I would have been happy if honda said "hey guys we're re-releasing the NSX the same as it was when it was discontinued, the only new features is a blu-tooth and navi, enjoy"
The last NSX was perfect and didn't need to change at all.

From what I've heard, it's going to be a V6 with electric motors. it will also have Honda's SH-AWD system too.

Hell, even now getting 17-18mpg average doesn't bother me much.

If it can be as good, or better than the NSX when it was discontinued, I'd definitely be saving my money for that. I'd make that my AWD along with my bugeye and have the BRZ as my RWD-go-sideways car. Hope it's not fugly.

Building a new S2k is harder than a new NSX? WTF crack are they smoking? The NSX is 20 years old.
Where did Honda find the time and money to do the design and R/D on this with all that's happened in Japan recently AND still keep up with all their "regular" cars.
Seems like an odd way to spend the time and money right now. Especially considering this it the first anyone has caught wind of it. How'd they keep it so secret?
Is this purely a hype concept or will they actually develop it? Seems that it hasn't been tested anywhere so it's probably a hype concept and we'll never see it.
