LMK: Half off mondays+New layout=pretty sweet
So I decided to go back to lemans karting even though I generally stay away from that place since I don't have time/don't want to drop $60 bucks a week on karting. But then I Found out they had half off mondays. I gave it another shot. Completely new faces... no one who used to work there except 2 of the mechanics. But the new track is sweet. I like it a lot better than the old track. I think they've had it for a while but I haven't seen it... been a while. IIRC I went with the Evo guys last which has to be about 1 year ago. It is a lot more technical. Decent amount of passing room too. The old one sucked for passing. I don't know if it's just me but it seemed like the karts were a bit faster than last time I went. Or maybe im just out of shape now.
Also the rollbar and harness were new. It seems like the rollbar stiffened up the karts. I don't like the feeling of being held down in the kart though, I guess it may be safer but I never thought getting thrown from the kart was an issue before... mainly getting T-boned scared me. Definitely use a kart pad if you are skinny, though. It definitely helps support you in the turns.
I managed the best lap of the week so far, but its only monday. LUCK.

yeah it was $30 bucks... Mondays only though... definitely worth it.
still long wait times and somewhat disorganized but, they have their sign in process "computerized now."
as usual they make you pay a $5 license fee... a racing license... lol.
