Never buy anything from prostreetonline.com

long story short, i called them on monday may 10. about the 04 carbon fiber hood. so, this guy Dan picked up. i asked them if they were in stock, he said yeah, i could have it shipped out today. so i gave them my cc number and told them to send me a tracking number. on thursday, i called them again, just to confirmed if it was shipped. the same guy picked up. he told me they were sold out and wont be able to get any until end of the month. so i requested a refund. yesterday, i still havent see my refund. so i called them, dan said if its not in your account by tomorrow, call them back. when i called today, they werent even open.something about a bbq.
what a service.
if anyones looking for a 04 cf hood with sti scoop. NinosAutoAccesories selling it for 479 shipped.

Call up your cc company and say you want to dispute the charge. That means nobody gets paid until the cc company resolves it.

some times transactions take a few days to post to your account. if there is no change to your account by tommrow (monday) i would call back and get a little more firm with him.

yeah you can dispute credit card charges up to a year wether or not you have already seen it on a bill, and they ALWAYS favor the payee(I know!) the burden of proof is on the merchant.

I actually bought some headgaskets a while back from prostreetonline and had to wait FOREVER for them to ship them. It ended up being more than 3 weeks, which forced my to change my plans with the headgasket swap twice. I talked to Dan numerous times and they seemed to push the problem off on Cometic saying that Cometic was slow with the dropshipment, but still they didn't do much to help me. I wish I had went with another vendor.

if this is the same pro street that is or used to be accross from MPJ and that deals mostly with DSM's then yes they suck. My friend needed hood pins for his cf hood since it was moving alot while at higher speeds. They installed them for $100 but put huge cracks in the hood where the pins were. We removed the pins and saw the ****iest work ever, looked like they took a dremel and just randomly cut holes, everything was jagged. He went back and they didnt refund him the m oney for the pins or even the hood. Ive also heard really bad stories from previous employs saying some of the people there would swap parts on cars they are working on or do other shady work.

You'd be better off buying from Vivid then from ProStreetOnline
