I'd like to challenge you to find a better price where you can take it to a store if there's something wrong with it, instead of dealing with some customer service guy over a phone. It just happened by chance that both these deals were from CC. In fact, I was going to post a link to a Fry's sale, however, by the time I got to it, it was sold out.
Also, Walmart??? I read that, and I discredit ANYTHING you just said about TVs. Why? First off, Walmart doesn't sell the higher end TVs, I just looked for 5 different TVs that my parents are interested in, a Sony 46" Z-series, V-series, W-series, the Samsung LN46a650 or the LN46a630. None of which are listed on their website. However, they do have the Sony S-Series, which was listed at almost the same price I found the V-series. The Fry's sale which I was going to post, was a Sammy LN46a630, which was also going for the same price Walmart is selling the S-Series for. Both of these TVs put the S-series to shame. However, if you like to waste your money instead of doing research, do as you please, it's your hard earned money.
Circuit City is one of the easiest stores to rip off, which is why I like to buy from them plain and simple. If you can teach me how to rip off Walmart, please do, as most of the prices I get on electronics beats Walmart's by a long shot.

I don't work for CC, and honestly, I find it quite childish that you'd say something that stupid. If you think about it logically, i-club does NOT have anywhere near enough funds to stop a business as large as CC from going out of business. Plus, even if I worked there, I wouldn't see any commission from an online sale, so why the hell would I care? I'm just posting honest legitimate good deals that I find. Why am I searching? My parents are building an addition to their house and need to furnish it. In fact, since CC has the holiday return policy, they bought both so they could sit on the price and think about it.

Um someone posted up before that circuit city increased their prices ahead of time. They seemed to have edited their post, was that you? It's a common practice done by a lot of the retailers. I think you need to relax. your comment is pretty dumb about taking your tv back to circuit city, instead of talking to someone on the phone.
How is my statement pretty dumb? Here's my logic, when you take something back to the store, they need to deal with it face to face, and as long as you're civil, they can't/won't kick you out. When you're on the phone, what stops them from getting frustrated with you where they can just hang up? I've had multiple friends ask me what to do because something isn't working correctly, yet, when they get someone on the phone, they end up getting nowhere. If you don't mind me asking, what is your logic on why talking to someone on the phone is better than in-store?
Yet you recommend Walmart? There isn't a doubt in my mind that CC treats their employees better than Walmart.
Arrogant? Please, look at you saying you have 1000X more experience. I really don't care about how much testing experience you have as that doesn't help either of us find a good price on a TV. Like I said, if you can teach me how to get great prices from Walmart on a regular basis (and I mean better than their normal 1-2% lower prices), I'm all ears.

For an uber cheap deal walmart can be your place. I agree I hate walmart, but I was pissed off to see frys and best buy advertising some deals worse than 2 weeks ago. I was pretty turned off to them, I mean it's a great time to buy but I question whether black friday is actually the more expensive time to do it this year. I believe this is the case due to the dynamic of the economy. Although I will say detail addict had some good prices!
I think in 2 weeks prices will be even better.
