Need some help from the i-club community, your families, and friends
Hi all,
It's been awhile since I've posted, but I've got a very important post for you. On April 2, my nephew was born with CDH (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia), basically his guts were in his lung area, therefore his lung was underdeveloped. My sister is trying to bring more awareness to this defect. She has put together a myspace page to inform others of this defect and also she has put a petition page together to create a CDH awareness day. Please help us out and sign the petition. Here are the 2 web pages to give you more information. Please also pass it on to your friends and family. Thanks.

yes, he has had 2 surgeries actually. The first one was to move all the parts back to their spots and to put a patch on the diaphram. Then last Tuesday they took a xray because he kept throwing up and the patch wasn't holding. So they rushed him back to UCSF for the 2nd surgery to fix the patch and they also found a bowl obstruction. He is doing better now. Hopefully, he will be able to come home soon.

Best wishes to Colin & your family, Chels. I just signed the petition, but was kinda surprised that I'm only #31 on the list. So I'll definitely be forwarding this to my family & friends.
