My buddies dad was in to that. Had like 10's of thousands into his home audio and that's not even as much as some of these other people. Mind you this was probably 15 years ago so the top stuff was REDICULOUS priced.

I had a half way decent set up for a while. I'm a harmon kardon freak. But it's all either been broken, stolen or just plain lost in moves.

now I don't have jack crap.
yea, it's nuts. when i first started i heard the term, "The sky is the limit." i now know it's true. when cd players cost over 30k, that gets a little crazy for me. don't get me wrong, if i won the lotto one day i'll have one.

I just got a pair of Grado SR60..... I'm a believer, they sound terrific for $70.

Definitely worth a listen. Although, if you plan on using these for work than I wouldn't recommend them due to the "open" design. At a decent volume you can hear someone wearing them from a short distance which may be distraction to other people.

Pssssst.... onemanarmy... it's "RIDICULOUS"... with an "I"

i forgot to mention that. "open" designed headphones mean others can hear your music.

if you're in an office i really recommend in ear monitors (in-earphones). my shure e3c is super comfortable.

I would recommend the Shure headphones... they are the most bad *** buds I have even listened to... but they go for about $100...

As for skull candy... I totally recommend them... I have a set of buds and the G.I. earmuffs... I love them! The buds were about $20 at Fry's and I got my $80 G.I.'s off of eBay for $40!

Definitely check out eBay...
