I've had 2 pairs of those over the last probably 7 years. It's my go to. Mine just simply up and ran away... WTF????

I just dig those new skull candy headphones... these...

I just can't bring myself to spending more than $40 on headphones. Specially being as broke as I am right now. Probably half to go get another $20 sony set up. Either that or go hit up Ross and see if I get lucky.

those those crazy like $400 jobbies.

I'm not a music producer so I just want decent sound for a decent price.

doesn't have to be perfect reproduction.

the grado sr-60 is $70, a very good headphone but not that comfortable. http://store.acousticsounds.com/brow...?Title_ID=9527

i use AKG K701 at home and my first headphone was a grado sr-80.

yeah those skull candy ones are cool, but sometimes i wonder if the money is going towards looking cool or sounding good.

that's what i said when i got my grado sr-80. i just want decent sound...the last year i think i've spent over 1k on my headphone rig. to some that's a lot, but trust me, there's some CRAZY and wealthy audiophiles out there. 1k can barely pay for their cable.

apparently they sound half way decent for the dough. Can't expect too much at that price point.

i'm pretty happy at the moment with my setup. it's quite amazing because you know there's only a left and right channel, but yet you can hear left/right/front/back/left front/left back/etc. etc. from the music. it's just like modding a car, it's a dangerous hobby. and a bank account drenching one.

Koss, Sennheiser, and Sony have pretty good entry level cans for your head. I personally have Sennheiser HD280's that I bought for $70 off Amazon 4 years ago that I use for making beats. I have a pair of Koss earbuds that I bought for $15 that go right inside your ear that sounded pretty good.

yeah the true audiophile home stereo stuff is REDICULOUS.

My buddies dad was in to that. Had like 10's of thousands into his home audio and that's not even as much as some of these other people. Mind you this was probably 15 years ago so the top stuff was REDICULOUS priced.

I had a half way decent set up for a while. I'm a harmon kardon freak. But it's all either been broken, stolen or just plain lost in moves.

now I don't have jack crap.
