Need shop for new paint job!

Hey guys, my 2011 needs a new paint job (hit and run on my bumper + someone in my apartment parking lot has been keying my car repeatedly, but thats another story).

In addition to the bumper, theres key marks on the hood, roof and on the door panels around the handles.

If you guys have a reccomendation for a body shop in the bay area that does a good job, please post it here

oh yes, i might do an insurance claim as well, so let me know how helpful they are with working with insurance companies. thanks

I always take my car to Yeaman Auto body for work. They do great work at a fair price. They did the whole side of my WRX when I bounced it off a guard rail.

Take it to International Auto Body in San Bruno. Talk to Johnny, he does excellent work.

They did all the custom work on my BMW and they've done a lot of different cars from various car make forums.

Hassle free. Yeaman's estimate was a lot higher than my insurance company's. Yeaman's took care of everything, all I had to do was drop of the car and write them a check for my deductible. They even did little extras like fix the wheels on the other side of my car so they would all match.

I wouldn't go back after my experience, but if you do go, talk to Scott. Jeff, the other guy in the front if he's still there, seems to not give a rat's *** about customer service.

I wish they did little extra fixes for me, instead of not completing what they were supposed to fix, and ask for another $280 if I wanted it fixed. (I thought, fixing damage from a rear end hit would mean aligning the tail light so it sat flush with the trunk and bumper, but they don't think so)

Sorry to hear about your bad experience there. I have never had any problems like that there.

Could I ask you to PM me your name/vehicle/when you got your work done and I will have a little chat with Jeff.

I am not affiliated with the shop but I have have been taking my and my family's cars there for YEARS.

+1 for this, Johnnys shop does EXCELLENT work, theres always alot of Porsche and M3s there getting custom work done, and theyre also very reasonably priced for the quality of work they do

They do awesome work at a great price. Johnny really worked with my on my BMW noting every little detail i wanted done and how. He also fixed a couple minor things that he didn't have to at no charge. The guy is a true enthusiast and knows whats up. I also wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

+1 Just got my car back. It was keyed on both passenger doors. Johnny did a great job and got it back to me two days earlier because I needed my car. Really excellent job, not just blowing fluff. I like to think I'm pretty critical, and Johnny/IAB went above and beyond.

I'm planning to take my wife's car there, and will be directing others that way as well.
