Need opinion: eBay Scam?

For a 15" Powerbook

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=14909

25 previous buyer/seller positive feedback. I contacted them and here is their response:

Dear sir,
We've got these in a deal we cut with one of our
supliers who had some old debt and gave us several
products of this type in exchange and we have an
urgent need of cash in our business.
The units are brand new in box and come with all
original accesorys, manuals and cd's.
If you want to buy one of these first of all give me
your agreement for the terms below.

Please advise if you agree our payment&delivery terms!

Delivery will be made via UPS after payment is
confirmed.

THE FIRST PAYMENT METHOD: we accept the payment to be
done through bank wire transfer to our supliers bank
account. Bank wire transfer is a transaction initiated
with the help of your bank and it authorizes your bank
to transfer money where you want.
THE SECOND PAYMENT METHOD: the payment can be done by
Western Union. This is a quick payment method it only
takes 10 minutes. You can find the Western Union agent
near your address at www.westernunion.com by pressing
the button "FIND AGENT LOCATION" or you can use your
credit card to send the funds online also at
www.westernunion.com
Additional Terms!

When you will receive the package please send us an
email. You have 5 days for inspection and if it won't
satisfy you, you'll be able to send it back and get a
complete refund or you can exchange it.
Let me know your decision
Best regards

Car Info: A limousine with a chauffer
sounds a bit fishy. I didn't see this persons company contact info ANYWHERE on that auction, yet he claims he's selling these for cashflow for his company.

This might be too good to be true...maybe if you got more contact info about him that wold be better.

I say it's legit. Only one of the 25 other transactions is viewable and it was a $100 item. So most likely the others were about the same (not some kid selling $0.25 baseball cards to get a good rating). I'd do it

Car Info: 2016 Acura RDX ... meh. Um, nice subwoofer?
They've got good feedback, and that says more than almost anything else. That last feed back looks fishy, heh. But, all these others are from unique Ebayers (as opposed to someone who gets 5 of his friends to give 5 feedbacks each on fake auctions for instant positive feedback... I never buy from people who have a majority of non-unique feedback).

I bought my fiancees engagement ring online via a wire transfer. Everything was cool and done professionally. I had a local jewler verify the diamond to the GIA certificate for me. So, its not unheard of to do a wire transfer for online payment and have it be legit.

Were I in your shoes, I dunno if I'd jump on the chance, but I'd certainly be leaning on the side of feeling positive about it. I would make sure to get a phone number and address before doing anything. Also, try using eBay escrow.... actually definitely try that. If they don't go for escrow services, I wouldn't trust them. It might not mean they definitely are untrustworthy, but if someone isn't wanting to make me feel secure when I pay them $1,000 over a wire, screw'em
