I'd recommend used stock ones but the higher end auto parts store ones are generally just fine barring the occassional one that doesn't fit quite right.
I really appreciate the offer. I need to get this done asap because can't stand the squeaking noise its making. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure mine are different than yours. Mine are male to male.
I have heard several stories of the cheap aftermarket ones making noise, but from a financial standpoint its a risk i might have have to take. 800 for the OEM pair is just absurd. If anyone has an aftermarket brand they have had success with, id appreciate that info.

That's what they cost and I found it out the hard way too. Remans are hard to find, if you can even find them. Do you happen to know if it is the same as the 04-08 FXT? I have a driver's side one for sale cheap if so.

I had a really hard time finding the WAGON axels. Besides OEM, the aftermarket seemed to keep listing the sedan versions. PITA. Ended up just having the shop rebuild my existing ones. Not the best solution.
