Brucelee-
One of the reason I fell in love with the ps2's was I felt it had only very minimally worse grip than re70 in dry am i crazy??
but that it raped in the rain, even did a track day in the rain and I was impressed.
Are these other tires any good in the rain? I definitely dont want a tire geared towards the wet, but the ps2's seem to handle it so well.
Still don't understand if the PORSCHE SPEC PS2 Is any different?

i love my star specs..they do really well in the rain as well..
a few months back in rain on 101, my gf said she couldnt drive behind me in my lane because my tires were kicking more water up than any other car on the freeway, and she simply could not see even when 7-10 car lengths behind..

It depends how hot it is. If it's 100+, I'll start at 32, with a target of 40-41 hot temp, and adjust from there going by mostly feel. I might look at the wear line above the sidewall to see if it's much higher or lower than the wear arrow thing, but otherwise I just adjust for more or less understeer.
Those XS's have gotten some pretty good reviews, I might have to consider them next time since they're $200 cheaper than the star specs...

Is that for HPDE or AutoX?
What heat problem were you having with star specs no autoX, not building heat fast enough?

I went with ps2.
I just didn't have time to try and get a ride on rs3's this time around. Gotta try it before I drop the cashola at this point, everyone raved on the re10r and frankly those tires were poop.
