Need (indoor/outdoor gymnasium for cheerleading competition)
Hello everyone...
I need help with something! The all star cheerleading team I use to be on and work for is hosting a summer competition in the bay area. This team is based out of Milpitas and they need help looking for a place to have this competition at. What they need is a: Indoor or Outdoor. Theatre or Gym. Must be able to fit 2 competition floors (2 floors of 7 strips of tumbling mats) as well as being able to fit between 5,000-7,000 people. If anyone can think of a good place that is not usually all that busy in the summer I would really appreciate the suggestions.
Thanks
Miranda

If you don't think it's too far from Milpitas, you could always talk to the University of San Francisco. Their Koret Health and Recreation center has an awesome gymnasium, Swig Pavilion, that contains four full-sized basketball courts. If you remember the Flash Mob Supercomputer project from a month or two ago, it was held here.
Plus, the facilities are very nice and quite impressive-looking. Great way to wow visitors

LMAO... well first I am not on the team anymore, I am an alumni of the team for 3 years now, but I am somewhat of an employee for the company that owns this gym and 6 others.
Maybe one day I will bring some girls along with me to something, but some of them have to turn 18 still... A lot of them attend high schools in the San Jose area. Anywhere from Saratoga to Union City I think. I was the farthest away in Monterey County.
And I think the chances of you getting with a girl at the competition is good considering that almost all the bay area teams, Nor Cal teams, and some SoCal teams will be there. Here is the math... There are somewhere between 100-150 teams in California for All Star Cheerleading and approximately 65-300 girls per gym... I think the odds are in any guys favor!
Whats the place with that said?

Hey everyone...
Thank you so much for the input, I really appreciate it. If there is more keep it coming!
Daredevil- Yes it is a lot of girls! Which is part of the reason why I never understood why guys dont wanna cheer. I dont think they understand exactly what they would get to see and do. Oh well
danhtao- ha ha... if I could I would but unless you know about cheerleading a business degree wont help. Learn about cheer and I will see what I can do. but just so you know you wouldnt have to commute cause I know there are 10 teams between Stockton and Sacramento.
ldivinag- where/who did your sister cheer for? I have been a cheerleader for 13 years now, I might know her or the team she cheered for. and cal state hayward seems like a great idea... I am running them all by the program director, but what exactly do you mean by "more personalized tour?"
