Need help!, going to Las Vegas

hey whats up...

Im going to vegas next friday. I havent been since I turned 21. anyway, I am pretty much on an EXTREME budget. We are driving to save money and luckily we are staying in my gf's parents time share. anyway, can you recommend good cheap places to eat? Also, for clubs and bars, what is the best bang for the buck?

TIA HOMEYS.

Tao, Pure, & Body English are all good clubs to go to.

you can't really go to those places with a budget though as you aren't gonna get in without paying the bouncer off (or standing in a huge line forever)

The best way to get **** drunk for cheap is to play nickel slots, order drinks from the waitresses all night and tip em like $1-2 per drink. You can't really go there on a budget because once you start losing or getting greedy, everything goes out the window. :x Just go and have fun. You shouldn't go 2 the clubs if you're on a budget, cuz it's gonna get expensive.

good italian and pizza for cheap
great calzones ($7 or so) and a pitcher of beer ($7)

Village pub
8515 S Eastern Ave
Las Vegas, NV 89123

this place was awesome when i went. great food, cheap ($5-$7), and large portions. They had the best chicken fried steak I have ever eaten and it was under $7 and I couldn't finish it all. My friend got half a chicken plus vegies, spuds, and soup or salad for $5.

there are a ton of other deals out there as well. Go post on Flat4lv.com and ask for places, all the locals know the good spots.

there is a cafe in the stratosphere i ate at. steak dinner was like 6.99. that is pretty good considering all the food you get. have fun on the trip and if you walk the strip, you can get some free tix from vendors promoting their club.

ive seen breakfast buffets that go for like 5 bucks or even under 5, its been a while since ive been there, but i remember hitting up that buffet at like 2 in the morning and it was dirt cheap.

the buffet is on the strip, theres a big clown in front of the building... not circus circus.

Buy a yardstick IT'LL GET YA DRUNK! But really, $27, 13 shots of whatever you like. I hardly ate while I was there, too busy doing other things. There's McD's and Panda Express every few feet on the strip anyways.

if you really wanna save more money DONT FRIGGING SPEED!!!!!!!!!!!!

especially once you cross or get close to the border.

last january when i went to the CES, i drove (as usual for the past 15 or so years...).

anyways, late thursday nite, i'm about an hour and a half away on I-15. i notice these headlights going in and out of traffic.

i figured, crowd from LA going to vegas for the show. then this black thing zoomed pass me. WHOA! an ENZO!!!!!

it was playing with a silver merc SLR to i figured... what the heck, right?

i downshifted and tried to join in on the fun. then reality set in... my fun lasted like 5-10 seconds before i realized, those 2 drivers have wayyyyyy more money that me, in case the CHP does popup...

i just kept thinking... my STi can keep up with them... my STi can keep up with them... lol....

btw, a nice chinese buffet on E tropicana ave. about 2-3 miles from the strip. on the same shopping center as walmart.

enjoy the drive. hope you have XM and/or sirius... lol.....
