Need advice: Helio
I'm in the market for a new cell phone. I was all ready to buy the Iphone, then spent some time researching it. Although it looks F'n cool, it just doesn't do what it should for the price you pay.
Enter the Helio Ocean. This thing, although not as cool looking as the Iphone, does a lot of really cool things.
Question: Is anyone using this and if so how do you like it?
Where can I get the best deal on this thing? I'm located near Livermore.
Thanks!

I've been thinking about this as well since my verizon contract is up in feb.08. the iphone should do more for the price but we'll see what the iphone hackers are doing in the next few months.
I've heard the helio ocean is pretty cool as well. I still want a danger phone though, it has the best design IMHO but tmobile sucks ***.

3g...
But, Helio has 3G, GPS, shoots video, Stereo blue tooth, full keyboard, and a bunch of other apps that aren't too important to me, but still fun to mess with like Youtube, buddy beacon, every messenger/email you could ever need, upload gps tagged pics to myspace or where ever,...blah blah blah.
If the rumored $300 version of the Iphone had 3G and GPS, I would definitely hold off and get that. However, figured Apple would have 2 years (during my helio contract) to make the perfect Iphone. Then I'll just jump ship and get that.
