National Weather Service - Santa Clara County Tornado Alert

was just watching tv, and the EAS came on and said that santa clara county has a tornado alert with winds up 35mph and quarter sized hail...

I heard something about that. Doesn't surprise me. I got some NASTY winds out in watsonville. Enough that I nearly put my car in the garage... very sturdy. It will be in there when I get home tonight.

The Cell is passing over San Martin/Morgan Hill right now, headed north east. It's dropping 1/2" hail right now. If it survives the hills well and hits the central valley, don't be surprised hearing about funnel cloud or tornado in Tracy/Stockton/French Camp area.
