To me, especially with this last fiasco between Eric and Subie-whateverhernameis, it seems that NASIOC really doesn't want a BAIC presense on their forums. I'm pretty tired of all the moderator (and user) whining and bullying and generall unwelcoming approach from the NASIOC administration. I think obeying the rules is a good thing. I'm an up and coming old fart. I like rules. I don't have time for what happens when you don't obey the rules. However, I don't like having to kiss someones bum just to have fun (well, unless the bum kissing is part of the fun, but that's a completely different story).

After reading Eric's story today, I've decided I'm no longer posting or taking PMs on NASIOC. Wow yeah big deal, I know. I do contribute on NASIOC tech forums, but yeah I'm not like some forum-god or a Subaru tech-god. But hey, at least it says something instead of just being a forum leech. However relatively small, I feel like I'm being told I'm wasting my time as a Bay Area resident, participating on NASIOC.

It would be nice if there was enough solidarity to send a clear message. But if not, it doesn't change what I'm going to do (or not going to as the case is).

So long, NASIOC.

very weird timing but i couldn't do anything on NASIOC for awhile...

and i DON'T think NASIOC wants to get rid of the BAIC.

there's just a "bad-seed" among them. Other moderators like Wagon-monster are cool.

In a general sense I agree... hey more invadeable minds in an advertising venue make adverisers happy yeah? The more the merrier for the pockets of the people at the very top of the NASIOC food chain.

But, my point is: I hardly believe there's any love lost

FWIW, I've found very little of value on NASIOC over the past year or so. Most all of what I'm looking for is found right here on I-Club.

i-club BAIC should "pull a HIIC"

all there members DO NOT go to nasioc at all. if u read the hawaii nasioc board it is DEAD and they are all over here.

I only go to 2 forums on nasioc- BAIC (Will is a good guy, and nobody else on nasioc matters around here) and occasionally NA just because. Ther rest of the board is pretty much non-existant to me. I think too many people are still enjoying the drama/rivalry and just need to let it die. If you don't like NASIOC or it's moderators, STOP GOING. But you're really not punishing anyone but yourself.
