nice first camera but your dad should know better the only canons worth owning are the 5d and up but the1D is huge and should only be used on a tripod.

Here's responce to your post from dad...

"Have to dissagree, I have Camera's from the 1D mk1 to the most recent 1Dmk4, and everything inbetween. I shoot with 7d's mostly, unless I need full frame. Then I use the 1dMk2. 1d's are too slow, are hard to foicus in low light, and shoot 2.5 frames per second.

Head over to his website www.eliphotographer.com and shoot him and email. His calander books up early. Sometime 2+ years in advance.

I wanna get into automotive photography. Like at D1 and car shows and the like. Also would be good to snap pics of the cars I do at work for a portfolio. You commin to zen tonight?
