For some reason, half the shops over there are mechanic shops. Right under my grandma's apartment tehre was a car shop doing some tire work on a Skyline R34, I'm not sure if it was GT-R or not, but yeah lots of car shops. I also saw a Ferrari 360 over there, and this one yellow R33 Skyline that goes around the city at night...every night. Oh, and i remember passing a used car lot with a lot of Evo's and Subarus, man Hong Kong, Japan, and Taiwan gets all the nice cars.

Nice pix... I haven't been back in 3 years now... Mong Kok is the place to go if you want to spot modded cars and tuner shops. HK has very strict regulation... you can't even change the air filter. But yeah... home sweet home.

is mong kok really the place to go for modded cars?? for some reason i thought there were more in the new territory. the guy at vortex told me that there are few street races cause there are cameras everywhere and not that much room. all the racing is done at the tracks, hence more legacys and fewer imprezas.
does anyone know of any other places other than mong kok with a lot of modded cars?

NT is full of illegal street racing and gray market garages, but since it's such a big place I dunno where/when any of it is
There's some nice rides in Causeway Bay, too, and plenty of rice in TST/Jordan
