Im planning on getting the dnx7120 because im a fan of the garmin navigation background/visual. i was looking at the pioneer site about the f90bt and was not a fan of the navi "look".
Just wondering but why the 8120 and not the 7120? besides how many rca outs i couldnt tell a difference.
And hows the ipod "load" for the f90bt? i heard the kenwoods didnt have a "load time" compared to other models so it would be good to hear from someone whos actually had it installed . the "expert" might have been comparing to a different brand maybe tho.

not familiar with the 7120 so can't tell... but i went with f90bt instead of the 8120 because of the resolution... f90bt look WAY better if you have them side by side. As far as iPod goes, no lack for me whatsoever. Plug and start playing before I switch to the ipod menu in the navi.

i also have the F90BT that i installed recently.
The load is only slightly annoying if you are waiting to use the nav,
but music kicks in early.
i highly recommend the unit though. its really nice having a functional dial

3d view looks great. before the this I had the Mio C310x and it has the 3D view I love it. it's much easier to visualize... let me know when you are in the area next, you can play around with the unit.
F90BT has all the cool stuff that I need. bt, voice command, ipod, navi, dvd playback without additional purchase. if you want, you can get sat radio and hd radio modules as well. oh it also places USB and SD card as well as charge and play music off of my iPhone too!
