Take out your carpet and insulation too, that'll be another 25lbs or so.

1) which is almost impossible to "fix on these cars with static weight or corner balancing. its more beneficial to lighten up the car as a whole i learned rather than leaving much weight towards the rear. besides, i tried to remove as much weight/transfer weight to INside the wheel axis as i can for rotation.
2) im very happy with this weight setup and distribution for auto-x, where you are wanting your rear end out especially on an awd subaru opposed to more spacious motorsports. the lightweight rear end helps my car to rotate much easier- of course along with alignment setup

The lighter rear end will make the car easier to control once it begins to rotate since there is less inertia swinging it out.

What do you have in total for weight reduction?

Curious to see what seats you have and how much reduction you get from the front seats, cause I may have run a similar setup as you (all possible non-critical weight reduction I could think of besides the front seats, I even have the minimum amount of nuts and bolts holding my car together lol) w/ the meth and half a tank and I still weighed in at 2850 lbs w/o me in it

they are memory fab kevlar seats weighing at around 11-14 lbs a seat (without rails and hardware) i cnc machined custom seat raisers you see for the drivers seat in a lightweight metal as well so the seats are about oem height, maybe a tad shorter.

i am not sure about my oem weight although i know it usually is around 3080. i know last time i weighed my car though it was around the mid/high 2800s.

there are actually a lot of things you can do for free weight reduction, its just that you cant really see it from the outside.. you just have to devote a week to tearing your car apart and literally peeking through every hole there is, which is what i did this past week..plus added some replacements ie carbon driveshaft. the thing i learned about weight reduction is every ounce and lb counts! people can laugh at removing 1/2 a lb at a time but especially from removing the sound det and foam, i realized holy cow...things can add up lol...

if i was really serious about strictly weight i can easily remove another 77 lbs.. there really is a lot of bs on the car haha.. look how simple the civic design is haha..

when i have a chance" id like to replace my rear window with sti glass, as for the sti is thinner. not sure about the front though.. probably the same..
