If you don't mind me asking, Ryan... How old was your cat? Has she always been healthy? I just think it's weird that she died on halloween...
I wish I could catch people in the act when they do harm to animals... Actually, I don't wish that because I'd be in prison for the rest of my life if I ever saw someone harming an animal.
Like someone said earlier, cat's have a weird 6th sense where they know that something is wrong and will go and hide somewhere to die in peace. Dogs also do this but cats are known to do it the most often... I really hope it was the case and not something weird.

It's hard to say how old she was because we rescued her from the hills above Milpitas, but that was at least 8-9 years ago.
She was always relatively healthy, but she ran away this past year for a couple of weeks and when she came back she was really skinny. Took her a while to gain weight back, but she was nearly back up to her normal weight.
I had the same thought about it being weird that she would disappear around Halloween, but it is not out of the realm of possibility that she just died. I have to think that because I would hate to think someone killed her. Like I said though, we looked around the yard for her and could not find her. Our dog brought her to us this morning. That makes me think that she went somewhere to die.
