Avis tried to give me a PT cruiser in Seattle this week. I didn't even have to think about turning around and walking back to the office and asking for a different vehicle. End result was a 2011 V6 mustang in bright red. A little anemic powerwise, especially usable power with a slushy 5 speed auto, but kinda fun if you turn off traction control and load up the torque converter a bit...

I thought they were 6-speed automatics?

Probably is. I counted 5 but I think the overdrive was off.

Paul is right on the money with this statement. I have owned GM Muscle cars all my life. The funny thing is this thread about the ford owner lol. Because they always talk crap when the get there butts handed to them. I have low 9sec TA that is my money maker and I still can drive it on the street lol. But I have to say I am selling my bugeye to get a newier STI and drop money into that and make it a DD beast.

Also on the comment the ford guy made about Subaru being ugly is on crack. I love subaru's and the way they look when you fix them up. **** I never thought I would own something else other then muscle car.. Boy was I wrong when I bought my bugeye lol

Very correct there my friend... 5.7L is more of a GM base motor

Passed by a guy in an old 5.0 today, guess he thought I was trying to race him... he was just taking off from a red light while I was already at the speed limit in the lane next to him. Watched him go wot and then pull in front of me just before making the merge to avoid hitting an island.. then he proceeded to speed up to like 90mph while I just cruised in 4th and watched lol.

By the way this is one of the mustangs I was remembering, it my not have a 5.7 like I thought, but it has close to 1000 h.p. I couldn't find the original article but this one's close enough

http://www.muscularmustangs.com/2010...elby_gt500.php

I do try to keep up on my original Mustang love,
so spanks for playing.
I'm just here to have fun and I like to let people know what else might be out there. I'm not the type of person to make stuff up to make myself look good, sorry if I wasn't 100% correct on my info.
