Mountain House

Anyone on here live in Mountain House, too? I've seen a few nice scoobs in the area... Still working on my motor so mine is still in the garage in pieces.

I never heard of Mountain House until I just went to Wikipedia. And then I learn that there are two Mountain Houses, next to each other. Are you in Alameda or San Joaquin County?

I've only heard a couple instances of street racing late at night though I can see why this area would be somewhat prime for it. Usually sounds like VTEC or motorcycles.

I hate to admit this but back in my street racing days Mountain House Parkway was one of the largest street racing scenes in the bay area up until the big bust. The big bust was also one of the largest street racing busts in bay area history complete with Sheriff, CHP, some local officers, several heliocopters and so many tow trucks you couldn't imagine...unfortunately I was present that night and what happened to me I will leave the details out but that was the beginning of the end of my street racing. can't believe you live out there and never heard about this LOL.

Yeah it is all VTEC there. In fact a S2000 was trying to race me in Tracy Saturday, revving on me and lining up.

Well that explains all the dick cops in the area. I've always been opposed to straight line noob racing so I'd never know about that without being told. Choosing Mtn House Pkwy over Patterson Pass is pretty high up on the stupid scale for me. People go door to door on Patterson just to get ahead. I had to have a lil chat with a guy on a BMW bike after he cut me off mid turn (I was carrying a passenger so I wasn't going too fast tho well above the speed limit).

Hey man, remember when we used to go get cheesesteaks at The Cheesesteak Shop on Monterey, back in the day? You almost always rode the Ducati.

I'm in Tracy and possibly drive through Mountain House every now and then passing through to Brentwood for a baby store that we bought the furniture from. Although mostly driving my wife's '08 legacy. My car has been down for a while, due to lack of funds for service work.

I remember the racing over there back in early-mid 2000s IIRC.

Hows the foreclosure rates over there now?
