Wow, that eye witness account is chilling. Amazing that it happened in such shallow waters too. I guess the conditions called for it though.

thats why i skimboard, you never get more than 4 feet deep.

i was on the east side today and there was this sea lion floating in the waves for like an hour. We all thought it was planning an attack on us since the sea lions have been biting people up in SF

yeah thats what everyone says...
they say that only because that is where people are standing all the time...theyd never say shark attacks happen in the middle of the ocean because no one is there.

How are the Kuwaitian sand spiders, have they tried biting your weiner off yet? those are worse than a shark!

no spiders yet, have seen three scorpions though. they are very aggresive and can kill a man in 5-6 hours. sucks

I saw a video of a great white bite some chicks leg off out in deep water. Basically, just dont swim in Monterey Bay and youll be alright

actually most "great white shark" attacks happen in 20+ feet of water because they like to strike straight upwards from below.

although this attack i posted, was in what? 5ft of water?

All I know is they had two great whites in the aquarium and let them both go in the bay. One was tracked to Hawaii and the other was supposedly still in the area = no swimming for me.
