Celebrity power? I guess so. But the mother and kids weren't credible enough from the evidence that I've read. Add to the fact that he's a celebrity and has tons of money I actaully expected him to be free on the serious charges like messing with kids and convicted on the lesser ones like giving alcohol to minors.

On the other hand, there was not much evidence going on for Scott Peterson and he's now on death row. I didn't think he was innocent but the evidence was so weak for a murder conviction and the death penalty afterwards. But that guy does look like a wife killer...

Moral of these stories is, don't get sued in the US of A. Because 12 :banana: will decide your fate...
