Misfits??
Who was at the misfits show at Avalon in Santa Clara?
I was leaving and I saw a new blue hatch with bike racks pulling out. Didn't look stock.
you on here?
All I have to say... FRIGGIN LOUD. Too loud. Half the time I didn't know what song they were playing...
My buddies band KILLED it. The Rivals.
Sounded so good.

I hardly ever go to shows anymore on account of the too loud thing, yeah I know- "if it's too loud you're too old", heard that- and to some extent, for some shows I guess that is true, but loud doesn't always have to mean stupid loud and unintelligible.
My most recent example would be Metallica at the Oakland Coliseum a couple years ago, Lamb of God opened and while it probably had somewhat to do with my not knowing their music, I thought they sounded pretty bad, Metallica came on and were every bit as loud, but mixed much cleaner and could be experienced without earplugs, clean and loud I'm OK with, but the focus should be on the clean part first...

I agree... glen mo betta. But they did play some black flag and some other punk classics like rise against.
I here glen is touring and doing some misfits songs.
Don't mind loud but loud to cover up muddy playing or whatever is another thing. So loud you can't hear is dumb.

Yeah, I got in for free too! A friend's band was the opening act for the festival, and they were allowed to bring guests, so me and 2 other friends got free hotel rooms and tickets. Also flew space A on an airforce plane (had to get from okinawa to tokyo) so that was free too. Pretty much the best thing that's ever happened to me...
