thats what i saw above my house months ago when i posted the "big *** shooting star" thread.

It was bright enough to catch my attention to look up, and there were embers flying off of it.

Obviously it wasnt that big. But it was the same sorta thing.

its sad how the internet has conditioned us to question anything the slightest bit out of the ordinary as a possible viral

yes this was definitely real and all over the news. thing was only the size of a grapefruit, pretty amazing.

Ya i've seen a crazy one too behind the hills by my house. This was several years ago.

It was a big *** ball of fire but didnt make that white glow at the end like the one in the vid, but was huge like that.

We are due for a small meteor to take out a section of Earth.

I would say one the size of a VW bug or trailer to strike the USA soon (3-5 years) is VERY probable.

I agree with the toolbox comment

With photo/video editing tools and the internet, it's easy to make fictitous (sp?) events that will probably be seen as an actual even 50 years from now.

so what would that do? how big was the dinosaur one? like 1000 feet wide?
