Anyone else see this? It releases oct. 12th and is made by EA/Respawn/DICE. Looks pretty sick. Anyone else getting it?

 

ive always played Medal of Honor. I will be looking for this.

Kinda dumb they are making it though? Im getting tired of MW2 already.

Looks good, used to love the Medal of Honor line up. Hope they have a beta for it.

I'll probably get it too since I've played all the MOH games but this one is out of the ordinary with regards to setting.

 

for those confused this isnt another Modern Warfare, that name is part of the Call of Duty franchise, this is from the old Medal of Honor franchise. Ive already seen the trailers and gameplay and it doesnt look nearly as good as the CoD:MW series which makes sense since the best guys from Medal of Honor left to make their own company Infinity Ward to make the CoD series, its funny that now its come full circle that the MoH franchise is copying the Cod franchise that started off as a copy of the MoH series (okay everyone follow all that?? )

To make it a bit more confusing, there IS another MW title coming out pretty soon here called Black Ops, thats the other trailer you guys might have seen, NOT the same game

Anyhow, heres a couple of clips of the trailers and gameplay, if you play CoD:MW as much as i do then you will notice the environments are not quite as detailed and character animation just not quite as fluid as CoD, def seem a bit dated, decide for yourself.

 

I thought black ops looked weak.

 

Never liked the medal of honor series but this one looks interesting. MW2 is nothing but hackers now anyways I hate the new steam system, was so much better when you could pick a server to join and hackers were banned/kicked by vote. Anyways that's my rant for the night.

 

if EA is involved, then their multiplayer servers will suck...just like when bad company 2 came out. Maybe they fixed, I went back to tons of Modern Warfare 2, so i dont know about fixing it.

 

ya theyre having Treyarch, the guys that made CoD: World at War (which sucked) make black ops, so ya. Worse yet, after Activision total screwed everyone at Infinity Ward out of their royalties on MW2 everyone there quit and Infinity ward is in all respects no longer exsists. It was fun while it lasted

 

Just a quick FYI, Respawn has nothing to do with this. It's an EALA internal project with DICE doing the multiplayer portion of it for them. My good friend is the CG Supervisor on it.
