Man Beaten to Death While Trying to Protect His Son in Same Way His Own Father Was Ki

A father was stabbed and beaten to death in front of his 7-year-old son by a gang he was trying to protect the child from in almost exactly the same way his own father was killed 23 years ago, according to the Daily Mail.

David Martin, 40, a window cleaner, was trying to protect his son from a band of bullies who were picking on the boy during a football game outside his house in South London.

The youths stabbed Martin with a Samurai sword and beat him to death with golf clubs and cricket bats while the child looked on, the Mail reported.

Martin's own father was also beaten to death 23 years ago by a group of youths with a metal bar who were teasing Martin and turned on his dad when he intervened.

"I can't believe this tragedy has happened twice to the same family," an elderly witness to the crime, who asked not to be identified, told the Mail.

...that honestly makes me sick to my stomach. I don't know how I would live if I watched my father killed - murdered - in front of me.

I don't think having guns allowed in the UK would help, might make for more interesting rumbles during the football matches though. I can see the headlines now..

150 Tottenham fans killed by AK47 carrying Arsenal fan, Tottenham fans retaliate with hand grenades..... riots ensued throughout North London..

In this case it was during a soccer match... I mean, I don't think in this country you can carry on you into a public place like that.

It's just totally sad, ****ing kids deserve a death sentence they aren't going to get in that country.

Yeah, but the thing is, if everyone had a gun, no one would want to mess with the other person... Kinda like in Texas...

Or like in Switzerland, where the gov't issues one of these for each household:

Last I heard, the crime rate there was pretty low.
