Lug Nut Question concerning prodrive wheels...

I posted this in the proper forum but got no response... my friend is picking up the P1's I just bought but he doesn't have the specific lug nuts for them... I'm just checking to make sure that he can use his stock WRX lugs on them or if that's a bad idea...

thanks!

he'll have to get some thin walled ones.. the stock ones are way too big to fit in the wheel...

so by too big you mean they won't fit in the hole provided? or is it a seating issue?

it won't clear the bolt hole, even if it does, it'll scrap the wheel and you guys wont' be able to get a socket on it..

My 17" P1's fit fine on my '03 WRX with stock lugnuts. Could easily get a socket on the nuts, and the angles were right on the holes. No issues whatsoever. My car was at T-Hill, Sears and Laguna with this setup with no issues and went thru tech at each.

i have 17" p1's and 18" pff07's and was told prodrive actually recommends using the stock lug nuts. no problems with clearance of the socket. i've run both wheels for multiple track days with no issues.
