damn dawg...

i dunno.... i was reading somewhere that the suspension was different. also, even 2 wrx's from different years (bugeye to 04-05) are different in suspension mounting and such. but the engine and most of the body is the same. prodrive makes a different spring set for the bugeye vs the 04-05. but they are still the same WRX's.... so i thought maybe the 92x might be different. just a guess though. and now i know they work. so.... cool.

i was ignorant, and for that i apologize to you and your family. please forgive me. again, sorry... and sorry.

02-05 wrx suspension mounts are the same. The 04-05 wrx top hats where different designs but the actual mount points are the same. You are thinking 05 STi which has the wider hub knuckle because of the redesigned wheel bearings and the different hub spacing.

The 92x uses the STi aluminum a-arms and steering rack I believe.

Damn D@wG!

anyone know if OEM 92x struts/springs = OEM WRX struts/springs

It seems the stock 92X has a little less fender gap, or maybe it's just me

<--installed own springs on 04 wagon.

The rear tophats from my 04 wagon did not fit the 02/03 rear springs.
I bought 02/03 eibach wagon springs and had to use rear tophats from an 02/03 cause the 04 ones are totally different.

steering rack yes, aluminum arms, no. they'd push out the front track too much.

in brochure and press photos, they actually make the saab look lower than it really is. I was about to buy a 9-2x instead of the WRX wagon.... but i couldn't find one in a color i liked (it was either going to be beige or red). the 9-2x was going to be a bit more expensive than the WRX even with the 7k in rebates (i wanted EVERY option).

hmmm, aluminum parts are better looking and lighter. That's funny how there's a Saab sticker over the japan label. Since Saab is not a japanese company...
