Uhhh, no that is not normal. Does your car shoot grey smoke out the tailpipe when you first start the car? Are you sure your car isn't leaking oil? Get under the car and mke sure there's no sign of oil leaking anywhere. Do you do your own oil changes?

while that is a possibility, there's no way he could be losing that much oil out the intake unless his intercooler is FULL of oil.

even if he destroyed his car during break in i doubt he would be able to create a bad enough ring seal to produce such ridiculous oil burning. and IF you're burning that much oil, you can see it coming out of the exhaust.

as far as i can tell, this is a matter to be handled by some one who has access to the actual car. i'm sure there is something pretty obviously out of place, or else you're getting a new motor courtesy of SOA!!! good luck and be sure to post what becomes of this, as i will be very interested to know what the problem was.

well guys...time to confess!

everytime I check my oil....it appears that I have NONE!!! or always LOW!! And every once in a while I get the "OIL CAN" light so I put in a qrt. Then it is cool for a while....

What do you think this means? Could it be close to the same thing as Deeseeone.

haha, yeah i put five quarts in at my last oil change and it still read low on my dipstick. i figure as long as you drive your car normally during the first 60000 miles then any problem that will happen is going to come up. damn the key ice is starting to hit the dome.
