Looking for a trusted mechanic shop in SF

Hello,

I am currently looking for a trusted mechanic shop that has worked on Subarus in the San Francisco area. I need to take my car in for a checkup and possible tune up. Can anyone recommend me a good mechanic shop in San Francisco?

Thank you,

Do a search but in that neck of the woods I'd go to LIC.

I'm curious also as a lot of big builds including Elvis the owner of stance nation got his vortex supercharger put on there and he doesn't go to cheap shops.

Throwing down mad cash with possibility of national marketing/publicity will get me Top of Line Reach Around with Happy Ending services at any "not cheap" shop. I am always more curious about treatment of mere mortal lowly peasants that aren't dropping bank on built race and show cars.

Let's not stir the pot. OP - figure out what works for you...call/visit all of the popular shops, compare their prices/services/responses/knowledge and make your own judgement as what where you feel comfortable spending your money. 5-10 individual user experiences ain't nowhere near an accurate representation or sample size anyway.

Let me just say, I would not take a Subaru to the shop at the 999th place on my list and let us move on.
